Millard-Gubler Syndrome in a Patient with Pontine Infarction: A Case Report

Millard-Gubler Syndrome is a rare neurological condition caused by damage to the sixth and seventh cranial nerves, as well corticospinal tract in brainstem. It characterized presence of ipsilateral facial paralysis contralateral hemiplegia. We report 55-year-old male patient who presented with sudden onset left-sided weakness. Imaging revealed pontine infarct. The therefore, was diagnosed also known Ventral Pontine based on his symptoms imaging findings. He treated Aspirin Atorvastatin referred neurology for further consultation physiotherapy This case highlights importance prompt recognition diagnosis patients infarction. Early identification especially use high-resolution MRI can facilitate appropriate management treatment, ultimately improving outcomes.
